Translation
I have translated a number of books ranging from general fiction to biographies, arts and crafts books, teachers’ guides, students’ books and specialised non-fiction publications (ILO, universities, etc.). I translated a monthly art journal that was published in Spanish and English for seven years and I have worked with film production companies translating press books for films. I have translated a number of tourist websites and tourist guides. I translate news articles for a range of publications, and marketing texts for companies and individuals. I also translate videogames and computer apps.
Interpreting
I work as an interpreter with film production companies at press conferences, one-on-one interviews for TV and radio, print group interviews and premieres. I have also worked during fan events at cinemas and meet-and-greet events. Apart from my work in the entertainment industry, I also work as a liaison interpreter at business meetings and during product presentations.
Proofreading
I proofread teachers’ guides and students’ books for different publishing houses going through galleys to check for consistency across their range of products and to eliminate any other errors.
Revision
I revise texts translated from Spanish into English or from English into Spanish checking for accuracy in the translation and to ensure the text reads fluidly as if written in the target language.
Voice talent
I offer voice talent services in Spanish and English. Most recently I worked on a bilingual dictionary for kids, with example sentences in both languages..

Traducción
He traducido varios libros, desde novelas de ficción a biografías, libros sobre manualidades, guías de profesor, libros de alumno y publicaciones especializadas (OIT, universidades, etc.). Durante siete años traduje una revista mensual de arte que se publicó en edición bilingüe (español/inglés) y colaboro con productoras de cine en la traducción del material de prensa que acompaña las películas. He traducido varias páginas web turísticas y guías de viaje. Traduzco artículos de prensa para diferentes publicaciones y textos de marketing para empresas y particulares. También traduzco videojuegos y aplicaciones informáticas.
Interpretación
Trabajo como intérprete con productoras de cine en ruedas de presa, entrevistas personales para televisión y radio, entrevistas de grupo con la prensa escrita y en estrenos. También trabajo en encuentros con fans a gran y pequeña escala. Aparte de trabajar en el mundo del cine y la televisión, trabajo como intérprete de enlace en reuniones empresariales y en presentaciones de productos.
Corrección de pruebas
Corrijo guías de profesor y libros de alumno para diferentes editoriales. Trabajo con las galeradas para asegurar la elaboración de un método de enseñanza coherente y para eliminar cualquier error ortotipográfico.
Revisión
Comparo textos traducidos de español a inglés o de inglés a español para garantizar la calidad de la traducción y para eliminar cualquier error gramatical, de estilo u ortotipográfico.
Locución
Trabajo como locutora en español e inglés. Recientemente trabajé en un diccionario infantil bilingüe con ejemplos sonoros de letras, palabras y frases.
